I am indeed a student at the University of Chicago.  At least that much is true.  Oh, and I also happen to be a history major with a focus in medieval studies, so that's true, too.  I guess the very fact I'm doing this makes me a geek, but I wouldn't have debated that point.

Apart from that, I'm just an easy-going fellow with an interest in sketching and a passion for the Middle Ages.  I'm a passionate historian and artist, and my hope is that by keeping this site I'll gradually improve in both aspects.  Especially if I find other, like-minded people who want to join in.  I'm always up for learning more about Medieval Europe and pretty much anything else besides.
